Norman’s Lane is a comic written and drawn by Maurice Norman. The series focuses around the mishaps of a family who appear to be cursed with great misfortune. Despite their horrible circumstances they try desperately to live normal lives in a dark comedic style.

I will try to post comics on a weekly basis right now. My current profession has me traveling around a lot and I work long hours.

The comic will be split up into sub webcomics that will alternate regularly. The goal is to keep the series fresh by moving around to different stories. This will save my sanity by not having to write for the same character over and over again. Plus they will all be interconnected helping to build up the world of Norman’s Lane.

 

Bad Day Benjamin

Benny Starring: Benjamin Melville Benjamin is a socially awkward little boy who tries to fit in but fate seems to step in the way at every turn. People who get close to him end up dead or in great deals of pain. Despite his depressing deposition and his cynicism he still feels there a small glimmer of hope that one day his troubles will one day be behind him.

 

Clyde The Misfortunate Psychiatrist

Clyde Starring: Clyde Melville Clyde is Benjamin’s father and a abysmal psychiatrist. He is self-centered and terrible at helping people. His negative outlook on life seems to spread to the patients he tries to help. People seem worse off by seeking his help and guidance. In spite of this it seems as if he no shortage of new patient’s lives to ruin. Clyde recognizes his incompetence and hates his job but he puts up with it day after day.
